Sorry for the false alarm re our move.  As Ben has said, Spoken Sunday will continue here till the end of January. There still needs to be a bit of redecorating and shifting of furniture over in our new home before we can move in!  You know how it is, especially with the Christmas break – trying to find removalists and handymen at this time of year is impossible!!

I know I am very excited about the move – so, brand new in February, we will be part of Write Anything – a perfect set up to integrate your #FictionFriday or thoughts.

But on with this week – please leave a comment with the title of your piece and the link to your podcast or audioboo… and don’t forget to post a link to your recording on Twitter with the hashtag ‘#SpokenSunday’ so we can all spread the word around.

till tomorrow – or next week!

#SpokenSunday moving!

This announcement is a long-time coming. I’ve known for a few months, haven’t gotten around to sharing it with you all. #SpokenSunday is moving!

I created this little project on a whim last year in the hope of sharing spoken word and readings amongst the loyal writers of the interwebs and we have enjoyed some modest success but I’m afraid, Sundays got the better of me and I lost track of it all, promoting the hashtag and even submitting my own stuff. It was a shame because I’ve been reading elsewhere in real life and would have loved to share it with you all.

I’d like to thank Annie Evett for her help during this time keeping #SpokenSunday chugging along, opening the submissions and posting the results. Without her, this would have died off very quickly. I cannot thank her enough. And apologies to a few of the lost submissions that I’ve found in the spam folder when I finally came back here.

2011 for #SpokenSunday is looking much brighter. We’re moving into a fold of great projects with the blog Write Anything. Write Anything, under the leadership of eMergent Publishing as of this year, is a writing blog full of writing advice, projects like [Fiction] Friday and now #SpokenSunday. Both me and Annie are to be part of Write Anything this year and so the editors were kind enough to offer to take it with us.

We hope to see you over at our next home in 2011 and perhaps hear the interwebs speak to us once again.
